I’m just a country girl at heart that loves Jesus! I was born and raised in a religious family in rural Pennsylvania. I have always enjoyed singing and playing guitar. As a young child, I would pretend I was a “star” and use my mom’s vacuum cleaner for my microphone.

Bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and traditional Country Music permeated the sound waves through our home.

Childhood was great! We lived next to a dairy farm and I can still smell the fresh cut hay and hear the hum of the tractor and bailer. I grew up going to church every Sunday and I have fond memories of learning about Jesus from my teachers and mentors. BUT we each have our “come to Jesus” moment, and though mine isn’t really exciting by the world’s standards, it was exciting to me because I found true freedom, and a relationship with the Living God!

The Holy Spirit continues to reveal things to me, especially in songwriting! I usually ask Him, “Holy Spirit, what do You want me to write about today, and He gives me a topic.” My music journey began at a young age. I was in church musicals, school choir, and the worship team. My parents and aunt often took me to concerts at the local venue. I was even offered a spot on a bluegrass band at the age of 19 but declined because it wasn’t popular to do that among my friends.

The enemy came in and told me I couldn’t sing and I sure couldn’t play the guitar good. I believed him. So I shelved everything music for 15+ years. I helped my husband grow some businesses and

had children. But now in my 40’s I feel like the time is right! In 2021, a group of us friends went to the Outer Banks NC on a week long beach vacation. We were all sitting around the porch one night and this question was asked….Are YOU doing what God has created/called you to do?! Most everyone else’s answer was Yes but I knew deep in my spirit that it was no for me. So I prayed that God would take my yes now to open up doors I thought were impossible. In the past 2 years He sure did just that!

I met and was trained by 2 Grammy winning songwriters from Nashville TN. I recorded with an award winning producer and A list musicians and I met Michael with Higher Power Entertainment and signed to the label in

2022.

Some days I wonder how this simple, country, middle aged woman got connected with an amazing group of Christian hip hop artists but God knows and it’s been so fun! I pray that my songs and voice bring you peace, comfort, and some joy! I want all my listeners to fall in love with Jesus too! And don’t be afraid if you grew up in church that you don’t have much to say because we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, whatever it may be.
